We are an independently run cooking academy championing authentic Asian cuisine.
Founded by award-winning Malaysian chef Norman Musa and spice enthusiast & recipe creator Rak Patel to share their love for the bold, authentic flavours of Asia.
Together, we create fun, hands-on cooking experiences that bring people together through vibrant tastes, spices, and stories from Malaysia to India and beyond.

We run hands-on cooking masterclasses in a fun relaxed environment, led by us and our deep-rooted heritage from across the Asian continent.
Our masterclasses are designed for people of all abilities and we also specialise in creating bespoke cooking experiences for Corporate team building events and for family & friends’ special
occasions.
We have 3 different venues that we use across London and are also mobile so we can come to you too!

Provides medical & humanitarian aid to communities in crisis.
We are working together by running a Cook & Donate Masterclass on Sat 30th Nov 2024 where all profits will go to supporting the amazing causes the Charity helps

Jepun Indonesia UK
A UK based charity established after the first Bali bomb in Oct 2002 by a group of Indonesian ladies living in London
For the last 20 years the fundraising has mainly gone towards educating local Bali children in need.

The quick + easy way to Spice Up! Your humble mushrooms 🌶🍄
Perfect for brekkie, brunch, or as a side with dinner —versatile
My fave? On sourdough with a couple of runny fried eggs 🍳 OR loaded into a croissant with melty cheese 🥐🧀
Proper brekkie-brunch vibes!
 
Here’s what you’ll need 👇
🍄 Mushrooms (any kind! 😜) diced
🍅 Tomato passata or blitzed fresh tomatoes
🧄 Chilli, ginger, garlic paste
🧅 A small onion
🥛 A splash of cream (or yoghurt / non-dairy if you prefer)
🌶 Spices: cumin seeds, smoked paprika, ground coriander & cumin, turmeric, garam masala, + salt
 
How to cook it 🎬
1️⃣ Sizzle cumin seeds in hot oil
2️⃣ Add onion → cook till soft [2-3mins]
3️⃣ In goes the chilli/ginger/garlic paste [2-3mins]
4️⃣ Stir through tomatoes + spices (not the garam masala yet) [cook on medium for 8-10mins]
5️⃣ Mushrooms join the party — cook another 5-6mins
6️⃣ Finish with cream + garam masala. Done ✅
 
Serve it how you like, but promise me you’ll try it on toast with fried eggs 👌🔥
